Sheikh Fahad Al-Kandari – A Voice of the Quran
Sheikh Fahad Al-Kandari is a renowned Kuwaiti Quran reciter, imam, Islamic preacher and television presenter. Born in Kuwait in 1982, he developed a deep connection with the Quran from an early age and completed its memorisation at the age of fifteen.
He began leading prayers at a remarkably young age and later became associated with the Grand Mosque of Kuwait, where his Quran recitation has become particularly familiar to worshippers, especially during Ramadan.
Beyond Quran recitation and imamat, Sheikh Fahad Al-Kandari has used television and digital media to share Islamic and Quranic messages with audiences around the world. His well-known programmes include “Bil-Quran Ihtadayt” (Guided by the Quran) and “Musafir Ma’a Al-Quran” (Travelling with the Quran).
His distinctive recitation, calm presentation style and focus on the Quran have helped his work reach a large international audience. His official YouTube channel contains Quran recitations, programmes, interviews and other Islamic content.
